Record when motion for more than 5 minutes. Does that mean up to 5 mins after motion started/ended?

Arlo says:

On Arlo Pro Wire-Free, Arlo Q, and Arlo Q Plus cameras, you can also set your camera to record until motion stops, up to 300 seconds (5 minutes)

Does that means up to 5 minutes after motion has started or ended? I would like to record for as long as there's motion, even if the motion lasts for more than 5 minutes. Is that possible?

It means "until motion stops or 5 minutes has elapsed, whichever comes first".  So from when the motion starts.

That is not possible.

Thanks! Do you know if there are cameras that do that?

Arlo does if the camera is AC powered and you subscribe to the CVR (continuous video recording) option. That isn't motion-activated - it records 24/7.
