We are building cabinets to house the ARLO equipment at several of our buildings. I was wondering if I put a plexiglass front on the cabinet would that create synch problems between the Base and Uktra2 cameras?

It should be ok. According to this paper (table 3), 1/4 inch plexiglass (7.1 mm) would give you a loss of about 0.35 db. Window glass would have a slightly higher loss (as would drywall). https://www.am1.us/wp-content/uploads/Documents/E10589_Propagation_Losses_2_and_5GHz.pdf
If the rest of cabinet is wood, there would be higher loss through the wood (~2.5 db).
