Ok, so were do I begin. I have been an Arlo customer since there beginning. Over the last several year they have always made improvements to there system to make them a more robust system, and I have always loved the service and price point. Well, as of Friday the 21st of February that has all changed, with there newest release of the updated UI aka User Interface, the main program in which all actions for your camera system work on. For me this is very specific to Android. Since the last update my cameras no longer work as they should in what we would call Schedule mode. Or what they call animations. After spending countless hours working in the the new UI, making calls to Arlo, resetting my entire system, and uninstalling and reinstalling all my cameras. the only way I can get the cameras to work is to manually put them in ARM Away mode. So they have to be turn on and off manually every time we come and go from our home. And lets talk about there technical support. Well, it to is as equally as bad as the new UI update. They offer little to no solutions, You can barely understand what they are saying to you do to the the thick accent. I have isolated the issue to the automations part of the system. If you create any automations in an attempt to create a schedule for your cameras the system does not work, for an example I have a automation created to put the cameras in standby when I get home and then re-arm the system when we go to bed. From my best working guess I have the automation set correctly but yet the cameras will not shut off when they should. and turn on when they should not. And yes, I have been through what feels like every possible combination of actions to get them to work. Still nothing, My only choice is to manually arm them as well as un-arm them. Has anyone else had any issues with the New UI update. (Note) If you haven't yet done the update DONT. I worry if they don't address this issue quickly they will be loosing a lot  of long term customers, especially the elderly ones that wont be able to work through this new User interface. Has anyone had any success creating an automation/schedule and it worked correctly? Meaning the system arms  and un-arms automatically based of your schedule. And the correct cameras actually work.

Hello,

I just got off a phone call with Arlo and I had a very intelligent technician that was able to walk me through step by step how to set up the schedule correctly, and now my system is working as it should. I had to many things triggering and causing a conflict. I asked that they upload a video walking people through the setup like they did with me. It made a huge difference and a better understanding of how they should work.

It appears that you need to post screenshots of your modes and schedules. I have 1 hub with 13 cameras connected and my schedules work properly. To figure out why you are having problems, we need to see what you have configured as well as a complete description of what you're trying to accomplish.
