Long delay to stream live video

Hi

I am considering to buy the Ultra 2 cameras but reading some posts here makes me worry about the long delay to stream live video...

I see people with good WIFI signal still complain that it can take up to 10 seconds from the moment you click play until the live video starts streaming...

Can anyone confirm if Arlo fixed these issues or should I stay away from this camera?

You will ALWAYS have a delay with WiFi cameras. 

It has to detect motion, talk to the server, server sends back info, then finally go to your phone.. That all takes time. 

10 seconds would be OK. Mine is usually 7-12 seconds to pull up a live view.
