I live alone in a high-crime area and rely on my Arlo system for security. After extensive research, I chose Arlo for its automation features—but I’ve discovered that lighting devices (e.g., Security Lights, Floodlights) cannot be added to schedules in the app.
Lights are online and controllable, but they don’t appear in the “New Schedule” setup or offer lighting-specific settings. This is a major gap, especially when lighting is essential for deterrence and visibility.
Please consider:
• Adding lighting devices to scheduling routines
• Making lighting controls easily accessible from the dashboard
• Expanding device settings to include brightness, duration, and motion triggers
I’ve attached a visual guide showing what’s missing and what users need. Lighting isn’t just a feature—it’s a safety requirement.
Thanks,
Kelly – Cairns, QLD

They can be added to the modes. Then use the schedule automations to change the mode.
