How do I download CVR Recordings?????

So I just sank a boatload of $$ into an Arlo2 system and subscribed to CVR. The recordings seem to be working fine and I can access it on my phone and MacBook, but I can't figure out how to isolate a segment of the video and download. I'm assuming this has to be an option as I've been doing it through Nest for years at my previous home. 

Help???

Arlo does not have the option to download CVR. Refer note.

Seriously???

Guess the system goes back. I tried to research, but guess I assumed that downloading was a given based on my experience with Nest. This is useless to me at this point.

There are workarounds to screen capture the recording as you view it if inclined.
