*Warning* Serious frustration after hours of futility.
I see nothing stating so, but is a subscription required for me to grant access to my wife for viewing our cameras? I have tried every single troubleshooting step from every similar post and not one thing worked. My wife has now created a useless account, which she is also now unable to delete, apparently. I am rapidly losing any logical reason to keep these products. I’d be grateful if someone could help. Thank you in advance.

She can do that in the privacy center of the app if she wishes.

Try clicking on "create account" in the invite email on a PC. That will open the browser to my.arlo.com. From there just log into her existing account.

Thank you for your response StephenB. I attempted your suggestion, but it did not work. Unfortunately, there are just too many unanswered issues with Arlo and their products. We now have several additional issues following the recent app update. Promising, but absolutely disappointing products that I will be replacing as soon as I am able to.

After I posted that response, I learned that there is an issue due to the transistion from the "library" experience to the new "Feed" experience.
But some users are finding issues with "Feed", and once you switch to it, you can't switch back. Just something to be aware of.
