Continuous **MONITORING** (not recording) with wired power?

Is it possible to continuously MONITOR an Ultra 2 camera that is always powered by either cable or solar.  Do not want CVR, just to live monitor continuously on a laptop or phone for 1  camera.  

A few years ago I looked at another ARLO system and this was not possible so I had to send it back and wonder if there have been any updates or changes to that missing feature.
