I just purchased 2x Arlo Ultra 2 cameras but I’m not able to see 4K live stream or recordings.
The cameras included a 30 day secure trial. I’ve read a few articles stating cameras need to be added to home network so I removed device but when I go through process of adding NEW device I only get option to add to Base Station (VMB4000).
I already confirmed power management and video settings are setup correctly and video stream is not zoomed in.
Not sure what else to try, main reason I purchased these cameras were to live stream and record in 4K.

Those articles are wrong. As you found, the Ultra cameras can only be connected to the base.

Is auto track & zoom set? That will result in getting 1080p video.
Have you downloaded a video, and then checked the resolution? For instance, by right-clicking on the file on a windows PC and looking at the properties?
