I have 3 cameras and on one of the cameras it has a 1x icon on the bottom of the screen. What is this? Also it has a square box in front of the 1x that the other 2 cameras don’t have.

Thank you for all the feedback regarding this. This new icon is an enhancement to better understand when a device has been zoomed in/out. When adjusting the zoom levels within the device Video settings, you will now see the value displayed on the cameras Device card.

One post is enough although this has the detail I asked for in your other post. No idea what that icon is although you seem to be missing others (the recording "ball" and speaker). Have you rebooted the phone and reinstalled the app? Which app is it - Android or iOS?

Do you also see the same thing when using the web client on a computer browser (my.arlo.com)? If so, does anything show or happen when you hover over the icon or click on it?
I'm not at all sure that it matters but what subscription does that particular camera have?

HI,
I have a few questions, Which Arlo device(s) does this symbol appear on?
Which version of the Arlo app are you using?
Thanks

SOLUTION:
I have the same icon on only one of my cameras - it shows a square that is partially shaded and has a "1.2x" next to it.
It is showing the amount of zoom that you have on the image. You may have inadvertently adjusted the image zoom in the app window. Mine was zoomed in 1.2X - yours was never completely cleared and at 1x.
Goto settings and select "Video Settings"
There is a small gray instruction under the image that says "Pinch and zoom into the video." If you pinch in - it will eventually take away the 1x zoom that you are showing. If you pinch out, you can zoom into the image 3x. And then this is what you will see in your videos / pics.
The icon tells you that you are not capturing the entire image area. it just does not seem to be well documented in the list of icons (it is missing, lol).
