normally there are only two times your light would be orange. When doing a reboot and if it loses a connection to one of the cams. Other cams with a connection would continue to work but you know at least one wasn't. Looking at signal strength for each cam would tell which one's. A reboot should at least try to re-establish the connection. On a few occasions over 2 1/2 years I have had to do a reboot more than once to get all 7 with a good signal. Twice I had to do a hard reset pushing the reset button. I believe it's on the bottom and may require unplugging first. Would have to look at documentation to remember. Over that period it's not that abnormal with anything with a chip. Computers, modems, cell phones, first thing you try. How many cams, have you tried a reset, did it just start three days ago ?

Thank you for your reply. I have 4 cameras and purchase them over a year ago. I had to reboot number of times since purchasing them. Now it is completely off line. I lose 3 days of recording. I have unplugged moved the base to another area to see if that would help; It didn't. I can't see which camera might have a low battery because they all go offline. This time all the cameras had been charged and still offline. I'm ready to throw them out the window.

If all are offline, the amber LED is telling you that the hub has lost connection to the servers. It's still connected to the router but something has happened to cause the hub to not be able to get out of your network. I would start by rebooting the router and hub, in that order.
