I have sent a request to allow my wife to access our newly installed system and it just doesn't seem very intuitive or easy? It is asking her to register but when she does that it wants her to set up the entire system ? Am I Missing something here, I thought it would be invite, accept invitation, done ? Can someone help me understand what I am doing wrong please 🙂

The simplest thing to do is just have her log into the app using your login credentials.
If for some reason you want her to use a shared account instead, then have her click on the "create account" link in the invite on a PC. That will open the browser to my.arlo.com. If she already has an account, then have her just log into it (completing the two-factor authentication step). She will then see two "Home" locations - one is an empty one for her own account, the other is for the "real" one that will show the cameras. She can rename the empty one to something else to avoid confusion.
