Upgrade to Smart Premier. Need to plug in to use activity zone and/or person detection?

Looking at upgrading to the Arlo Smart Premier. Right now the cameras say I need to use the AC adapter to set up activity zones. Do I also need to plug them in to use the person detection features if I upgrade from basic? Most are not in areas we can plug in, so not going to upgrade unless that feature works on wireless, since activity zones do not

The "SMART" features are not process locally so yes, you can use it if not on AC.

The files are sent to the far end severs and there it is determined what the trigger event was caused by... this then comes back to you in the library and alert.
