I was under the impression that with an Arlo Smart subscription, any motion would trigger a recording but a notification would be sent only if its a person. I do have the Arlo Smart motion alerts set to just People and Smart zones set up. Is my assumption incorrect?

Hi @Jamjinx

 

Motion will trigger the cameras to record while in the armed mode. You will need to enable a camera in the Settings > Manage Arlo Smart > Active Cameras to have the various options on or off.
