Good afternoon all,
I purchased some new old stock of the Arlo Security lights, but I keep getting the dreaded 'Cant connect to Wireless Network' error. I followed all the recommended troubleshooting - Factory Reset, Phone/Hub on same SSID using 2.4ghz, no VPN, no MAC Filtering, etc, etc. Same issue on two hubs.
The thing is, I have a firewall which all my IoT devices currently go through (Including an Arlo Smarthub), so I have the ability to view the traffic flows for each device as they happen. Both of these hubs connected, got IP addresses, and I can see them both sending and receiving data from Arlo - yet I still get the error?
Examples:
registration.ngxcld.com 28.7 KB
registration.ngxcld.com 17.9 KB
advisor.ngxcld.com 12.5 KB
presence.ngxcld.com 11.7 KB
xbroker-z2-i10.arloxcld.com 6.3 KB
advisor.ngxcld.com 6.2 KB
xbroker-z2-i23.arloxcld.com 6.2 KB
presence.ngxcld.com 5.8KB
Is there something that may need to be reset from Arlo's side? Perhaps some kind of registration token, etc? I dont see how both of the hubs are clearly communicating with Arlo, yet still fail to connect to wireless in the app - makes no sense at all.
I can provide my hub serial numbers if that would help?
Any assitance/support would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Were you able to get the devices connected? Could they have previously been connected to someone else's account by chance?

Nope - no luck. And I doubt they were ever connected - though they were open box, they were brand new, still wrapped.
Either way, kind of gave up on these - tried several more times with different wifi standards, channels, etc. Got tiring resetting the hubs. Shouldnt be this difficult.
If you have any suggestions, let me know. Otherwise, I'm just chalking these up to a very bad purchase on my part.

Can you try to do a reset on them using these steps?
