Hi,
I’ve been having ongoing issues with the Arlo Secure application continuously creating apparently new ‘this device’ entries within itself and I think I’ve discovered why.
At some point the iOS default has become to use a Private WiFi address for additional privacy but this continually changes the MAC address that your WiFI network uses.
the following Apple KB article tells you how to turn it off…

Do you mean as a *trusted* device?
If so, then this is the issue with the app and bad software engineering. When planning any app, software engineers should have taken that into account.
Using a randomised MAC address is a security feature, and is linked to any device on the network, your router including.
