I have been trying for 2 days to get my older Arlo model VMS3430 to connect. Everything is OFFLINE. Customer service is useless.

Can you provide more details on the system you have. The camera model should be on a label inside the battery compartment, and base maybe on label underneath.
If not already try power cycling the modem, router and base that order, allow 10mins for each to reboot in sequence. Report what the base station LEDs are doing when completed.

Sure the base model is VMB 3500. Serial number is 5BF6947DA084C. Mac address is A411620F2CBD

Refer to the user manual link below.

See page 8 for LEDs and page 63 for troubleshooting.

What arlo App are you using? Phone app or web portal browser.

Does that include the base?  What LED status are you seeing? https://kb.arlo.com/000039100/What-do-the-LEDs-on-my-Arlo-SmartHub-or-Base-Station-mean

I have a laptop. Would that work?

Yes... via browser

BTW, those are the original Arlo HD cameras that use 4-123 cells

Also, one the base is recognized by the Ethernet/internet, you can manually sync the cameras by just pressing the sync button on the base and then the camera ( camera within 3 ft of base )

The base is the original one that first came out. I have a little round one with all 3 lights green constantly. They are not blinking and I deleted all camera's off my profile thinking I can read them on. What a mistake I did

I do not have an account with Arlo. Can I just purchase a newer base and have my 4 cameras connect

You must if you are trying to add cameras.  I'm not asking if you have a subscription.

A current base is compatible with your cameras.  https://kb.arlo.com/000062284/Arlo-SmartHub-and-Base-Station-Compatibility

I don't know whether it will solve your problem or not.

It would help if you answered my question on whether the base is currently in your account or not (answering it here: https://community.arlo.com/t5/Arlo-Secure/Vms3430/m-p/1852549#M715).

I think you misunderstood the question, and assumed I was asking if you had a subscription.

BTW, you now have three open threads on the same problem - that will definitely create confusion, as various people here reply on the different threads.

When we got the Arlo monitoring was free so we never subscribed to a monthly fee.

The 7days cloud library is free for these older camera systems. Warranty finished years ago but they still offer support if you have a subscription plan in place.
