I have tried every authentication method. I am able to log into the website but unable to have access to the app. I have used SMS, push button and email successfully to get a verification code but when it prompts to click “trust device”, an error occurs and it says it has trouble trusting this device.

I had the same problem and it was driving me nuts. Got a new iPhone and it was not trusting my newer iPhone. Finally, hours later after trying and trying. I uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it and it worked after the 2-step authentication.
