Hi everyone,
I find the new app really frustrating in replicating what I used to have under the previous version of the app.
I can't get the modes and automations to work together well. I've read the arlo posts, FAQ and some of the posts in here, but can't find exactly what I'm looking for for what works.
I have 12 cameras (10 actual cameras, 1 floodlight and 1 doorbell, across 2 base stations).
What I want to do is:
- between 9pm and sunrise: Always armed (whether arm away or arm home, indifferent) and on, whether people are home or not. If easier, sunrise might as well be 6am.
- between 6am and 9pm: on standby if anyone is home or arrives; armed when noone is home or everyone leaves (so geofenced based on 2 people, myself and my wife; and yes, our locations are always being tracked via ios on our phones)
Can anyone help?
I can list out the various things I've tried, but there's been a few iterations, where I'll get most of it to work but not all in different ways. So i think its best to start from scratch.
I had this working under the previous version.
Thanks so much!

Can you try setting it up as follows:
Setup a Schedule Automation
- Setup Arrive->
->Action-> set to Standby
->Action->Enable Schedule Mode
3. Setup Leave->
->Action->Set to Arm Away
->Action->Disable Schedule Mode

There is no "Schedule mode". Do you mean "enable each schedule automation" and "Disable each schedule automation"?
Another thing that can be confusing - each mode has its own list of automations that are enabled or disabled whenever that mode is activated. So I think that if you want to make sure the schedule automations are disabled in Arm Away, you also need to go into the Arm Away mode and make sure the automations are not checked there.
