 I went to cancel my Arlo secure plus subscription due to price and was offered 50% off for 3 months if I didn’t cancel. I accepted this, but then the discount is not applied to my next billing cycle. How do I get this discount to apply?

When did they promise the 3 months are starting?  Immediately?  Or say 12 months later?

It appeared that it was immediate, as a way to convince me to keep my subscription for a couple more months. Is it effective to call in to cancel and be offered a discount?

"It appeared that it was immediate" but then the discount doesn't seem to be reflected in the next billing cycle.

 

I haven't enjoyed such discount before so have no experience to share.  However, I am curious as to WHEN such discount will be made effective.  I have seen companies doing such "favour" that the discount won't be available until 13th month of the upcoming billing cycle. (ie 50% off for 13th, 14th and 15th month)

 

Anyway it is important to confirm what's really happening there, with ARLO.
