Hello,

I have set up four automations in my Arlo Secure app:

Weekend Day Schedule: Starts at 8 AM on weekends and sets the mode to Standby.

Weekday Day Schedule 1: Starts at 6:30 AM on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays and sets the mode to Standby.

Weekday Day Schedule 2: Starts at 7:45 AM on Wednesdays and Thursdays and sets the mode to Standby.

Night Schedule: Starts at 10 PM every day and sets the mode to Arm Home.

I do not have any geofencing set up through Arrive or Leave automations. However, under Profile > Available Geofence Devices, I do see the devices of my family members with whom I have shared access.

Despite this setup, at 11 PM every day, the mode automatically switches to "Arm Away". I have explicitly toggled off all automations under the Arm Away mode settings to ensure no automation is triggering it accidentally.

What could be causing the mode to switch to Arm Away at 11 PM? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

This behavior should now be resolved. Can you please check to see if you are seeing the same behavior?

Disabling them there won't ensure that, since whatever is triggering the change must be running when the system is in "Arm Home" (assuming the night schedule automation is running).

Can you post screenshots of the various automations?  (mask out the map in the geofencing ones).

Here are the screenshots of my automations. I've also attached a screenshot showing that Arm Home activates as scheduled, but switches to Arm Away at 11 PM.

Thx.  Your automations all look correct, so this is confusing.

I see you don't have a subscription, so paid support is not an option.  But I am tagging the mods - @BrookeN , @JamesC , @ShayneS - in case Arlo wants to follow up.

Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling the app on your phone as a next step.

Thanks. So, is support on this thread only for subscribers? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app before, but had no success.

You aren't engaging with Arlo support.  This is a user-to-user forum and I do not work for Arlo or represent them in any way.

Arlo support does require a subscription (or a camera under warranty).  You get that using the support center in the app.

Ok.  Then the next thing I would try is removing all the automations in your system.  Then put the system in Arm Home tonight, and see if it still shifts to Arm Away at 11 pm.

Understood.

I removed all automations and manually set the mode to Arm Home last night. It did NOT switch to Arm Away automatically at 11 PM. I will add the automations back and see if it behaves as expected tonight.

I added back the same automations and the mode does NOT switch to Arm Away automatically now. It seems like the issue has been resolved by removing all of the automations and then adding them back in. I would still like to test the weekday automations before claiming success.

I was hoping for that.  We have seen some other mis-behaviors that were "solved" by removing and recreating the automations.

I wish my assumption was true. It again switched to Arm Away automatically tonight. I'm clueless now.

@Saurav13 does it change to arm away mode on the dashboard when it switches over?

Okay. I just updated the app and will monitor the behavior tonight. I'll report back with the results.

That seems to have fixed the issue. I did not see the mode switch to Arm Away last night. Thank you all very much for the help!
