  • Arlo recommends that you use a microSD card with a minimum of 16 GB capacity, Speed Class 10, UHS1, V10.
  • The Arlo SmartHub supports up to class 10 UHS-3 V90 class microSD cards.

The cards are formatted as FAT32 (normally done in the smarthub).

 

The max size of the card is a bit unclear.  2 TB is potentially possible, but I haven't seen any posts here from people using cards that size with success.  Part of the puzzle is that a lot of cards over 1 TB are scams.

 

Generally I suggest staying with the 128 GB - 512 GB range.  128 GB holds about 100 hours of Ultra recordings, and normally my cameras only produce a few minutes of recordings each day.
