Here’s the solution:

I had to update my payment method. solved.

My payment method was literally saved on my Arlo account. But since there was a lapse in my plan, the payment method needed to be updated.  Arlo doesn’t tell you this naturally, instead you receive the error: “master plan not assigned on the account.”

therefore my credit card was charged literally THREE TIMES for the same Alro secure product.

the Arlo web site allows you to purchase a plan as many times as you want with your original payment method, yet blocks you from actually receiving what you paid for simply because it won’t tell you to “card details need to be updated” even if those card details are from the exact same credit card 🤡

I raised this issue with Arlo support after finally being able to reach them, and the customer service rep unironically pretended this is a non issue.

Arlo team: learn to code. If the payment details need to be re entered into the system then change the warning message to reflect that information, instead of a random generated error message.

the payment details are the exact same. 🤦‍♂️
