So, I got a VMB5000r6 for my parent's place. However, when I try to invite them to grant access they don't see anything. An old account wasn't able to see it either. However, when I removed and reinvited the account, it can now see everything. I did the same thing with my mom's account and it still can't see anything. Completely ignoring the mobile apps for the minute. The web interface for my mom's account looks different than my account. I haven't been able to figure out the "switching" of my UI to the new UI to get that point addressed.

Are you seeing "Feed" in your menu? Or "Library"?
Similarly, what are you seeing in your mother's account?

All accounts need to use the same app version and user interface. The old 3.x interface uses Library to view videos while the new 4.x one uses Feed. You will have to force the one using the 3.x UI to migrate to the new one so all are on the same UI. I suspect yours is the one using the old UI (new users automatically get the 4.x UI) so you would need to force the migration by choosing to install either a Pro 5 or security system. It doesn't matter that you don't have either since all you will do is allow the migration to occur and then cancel the installation.
Once done, each user will have a default Home set. The users that are being shared to will show 2 Homes in Devices - the default one for their login being selected and yours as a choice when Home is clicked on. I suggest at least one of you renaming your Home so it will be obvious whose is whose. It may be easiest for you to do so but anyone can do this. Selecting your Home will show your cameras.
However, this migration won't transfer over any modes and rules you have set up so make notes to set them up again. You will find modes in the Routines section but only 3 are availble. You'll need to work with those 3 to get what you want, including the Standby mode. These modes are named for general usage but you can set them up as you need to accomplish what used to be configured.
Use the Automations to set up a schedule (you'll need to set up at least 2 schedules, one to switch to a different mode at some time and another to change the mode again at a different time) as well as geofencing (one to leave the property and another to return).
It's certainly a different way of doing things but it's what we all will be using at some point anyways so beating the rush will help. ANd it's needed to get sharing of cameras working.

In my account, I'm seeing Library. In my mother's account, I'm seeing Feed.

I kind of see what you're getting at. However, if you look at the models of the base stations I'm using I'm using both the old and the new base stations. But, my mom's account doesn't see anything. The new base station is at her place and her account is new. Why can she not see the stuff from the new base station?

With the new 4.x interface, all users sharing cameras must be on the same app version as well as the same interface. Since your mother can't go backwards to get the 3.x interface, you will have to migrate to the 4.x UI for this to work. You can force the migration by choosing to install either a Pro 5 or the security system, even if you don't have either. Your account will be migrated first after which you simply cancel the installation. An important thing to know is that no existing modes will be transferred when you migrate so you have to use the Routines selection to reconfigure as best you can using the 3 hard-wired modes supplied - you can't add new modes. Use Standby if you need since it's a suggestion for how to use it, not how you choose to use it. You will also need to set up schedules and geofencing in Automations if you happen to use those.
Whew! Now that's all done, she can view your cameras by selecting Home at the top of Devices and clicking on the bottom choice. When you are using the 4.x UI, you get a default Home location, as does your mother. These are mutually exclusive and, since each are named the same, it can cause confusion. My suggestion is to simply rename one or both of the default Homes so as you quickly be able to identify the proper one.
The new UI changes things a lot so you just have to slog your way through and ask questions if stumped. Be sure to check the support articles (FAQs) in the support section here while taking care to ensure you're looking a the articles for the 4.x UI - there may well be one for 3.x and another for 4.x

Assuming you are trying to share the cameras at her place: She isn't seeing them because you are using the "Library" interface, and she is using the "Feed" interface.
