Geofence help please

I know this issue has been discussed numerous times. For a number of years I had 1 essential camera and a hub. Geofencing worked fine for our two phones except for the random logout issue that Arlo can’t seem to fix. Recently I purchased two second generation essential cameras to add to the system. It took some time to discover these new cameras were not compatible with the hub. This fact was not made clear by Arlo and I only discovered the incompatibility through this forum. I was also forced onto the new Arlo Secure app. I am now at the point where after trying numerous settings, geofencing simply won’t work. I also find for no apparent reason, extra phones are added to my account. I can delete them in the privacy settings but they always reappear. I have tried contacting Arlo, but of course we all know that they are not very helpful. Is it possible to get comprehensive instructions for the new app not just brief descriptions of each function? Is there something wrong with the app? Can someone also tell me what settings they use to make geofencing work. Thanks.

I find that the extra phones reappear after deleting them on Android. However, they are deleted when checking in the web client (my.arlo.com). You may want to try that approach.
