Hello all,

I have a shop that has a bunch of cameras attached with various settings. There's a cell phone that goes with the shop that I'd like to share access to so that when an employee comes and goes, they can use that phone to change modes without disturbing me, the account owner. I'd like for them to NOT have access to changing the routines, automations or camera settings. This seems like a pretty simple request but I don't see it as a current possibility.

Thank you,

Kyle

The friend account feature does what you need.  There is a bug at the moment that prevents shared user from changing the mode.  But Arlo is in the process of rolling out a fix, so I recommend that you just set up the friend account and see if it works for you.

Another reason for you to use the friend account feature is that the employees would have access to the payment method info if you shared your account credentials.
