Can we use Home security system and All in One sensors without ANY active subscription plan?

Can we use the Home security system and All in One sensors without ANY active subscription plan? will we still receive alerts to mobile app without plan? I understand we won't be able to get emergency response services without plan, but what all other features work without ANY subscription plan?

To receive Professional Monitoring, you will need to have the Arlo Safe and Secure Pro plan. The system comes with a trial that includes these features: https://kb.arlo.com/000062864/What-is-included-in-my-Arlo-Professional-Monitoring-trial-or-subscript...

The system will work without a subscription plan, but you will not receive any of the features included in the trial plan, as detailed in the article above.

Does that mean I will receive alerts related to the Home security system in my Arlo app (like door opened, smoke alarm triggered) even if I don't purchase any subscription plan?

I reached out to Cust care and they are saying the security system is useless if I don't have any plan active.

Can you please confirm which is true.

If I intend to monitor the system by myself without any professional monitoring, I wanted to make sure the system will work.

All notifications except for smoke/CO alarm will work. Smoke/CO alarm requires a subscription.
