I didn't say you were disputing the software.  What I guess I should have added was that this behavior never happened to me under the previous software.

It is new behavior in "Feed" - Arlo said they resolved it (if I remember correctly), but it still might be happening to some people.    I did see it for a while myself, but it did resolve for me when Arlo announced they'd fixed it.

@Hutchio1:   If you haven't tried logging out of the account, and logging back in, then I suggest trying that.  Alternatively try restarting the phone.  One of the mods suggested that a couple days ago.

FWIW, I am seeing that my cameras often show up offline for a bit when I first open the app.  Usually the status changes in a few seconds.  Sometimes force-closing and reopening the app helps.  It is annoying, so hopefully Arlo is working on that.

Are your cameras connected using an arlo Base/hub and if so can you access the unit’s settings? Try power cycling the unit.

You may need support to resync the account.

From my experience, it's something that happens frequently, but it's not persistent.  Recycling, or individually turning cameras off and back on doesn't change the behavior.  It's another defect in the new software.

I do have a hub and while I primarily use the browser interface, this also happens on the app.

Thanks for your observations, not disputing the software as the cause.

All I can provide is workarounds to issues I have read about on the forum.

I was simply adding information about my experience with what I believe to be the same issue.

I can say that I have had this problem occur to my own setup where the base station status is lost from the arlo app but the cameras are still able to activate on detection and record.

As this occurred while I was away with the alarm mode selected it required a mad dash to the base station to acknowledge the activated siren since I was unable to disable  the base’s mode before entry.

Although removing power and restoring it on the base unit restored the base station status on the app, the double tap was the subsequent loss of all camera status showing offline for the next hour that eventually restored themselves.

What is causing the issue is unknown, arlo support is always silent and sheepishly ignorant unfortunately.
