Arlo App Push notification on the lock screen no longer starts the Arlo app.

Push notification on the lock screen no longer starts the Arlo app.

Android version: 14
Smartphone: Samsung S22 (2x)
Arlo version: 5.2.2_28766
Normal behavior would be If you get a push notification on the lock screen and tap it with your 
finger, the Arlo app starts with the corresponding video. As with all other push notifications
from other apps, such as Whatsapp etc.

But:
If you now tap on the message, nothing happens except that you go from the lock screen to the
start screen of the Smartphone. Either you have to start the app manually and select the video,
or you can pull down the notification from the start screen and start the recorded video.
Then the app opens.
No longer via the lock screen after a notification. This can be reproduced using my wife's
Smartphone. She also has a Samsung S22 with the same Android and Arlo App Version. The App was
uninstalled cleanly for testing. Cache and Data also deleted.
All other apps that send push notifications, like E-Mail, Whatsapp and other Apps can be opened
as usual via the lock screen.

Please help.

Does no one have the problem?


Before the update it worked smoothly for us calling up a video via the push notification on the lock screen.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

I did everything. Uninstalled, cleared cache, etc. 
The "Show at beginning" option in the Android settings was disabled
for me and my wife after the update. That briefly solved the problem.

Thanks for the query.

This problem has been solved. For some reason, after an Arlo update, my wife and I had the "Show at top" option disabled. I don't know the exact English wording in Android.

After that it worked as it should. Then the problem started again, only different this time. As described in the other thread. again after an Arlo update.
The “Show at beginning” option is activated for us.
