My friend has repeatedly sent me an email to "invite" me to access his cameras. The email only includes a link to "create an account". I've got the app. I have an account. I still haven't seen any "invite" link.

Why are you making this so complicated?

You will need to open your email account to access the invite email, select the link to open a browser to login using the invitees credentials to activate the sharing feature.
