screen goes dark

when I clicked on "live" button to check out the camera, it comes back with "please wait".
After 30 to 60 seconds, it comes back with dark screen and stay dark.
Sometimes I hear noise. Sometimes I don't.
In order for the camera to work I have to reset the device.
The camera will then work for next day or two then go dark again when I check in.
Please help. Thanks.

I've been seeing that recently myself. I'm trying to work through it to see if my camera is slowly going bad or if it's something on the Netgear side. It might be worth opening a case with support to see what they say.

My Q is as old as yours and on 24/7 too...no issues noted

Mine is brand new and doing that. Was good for a few days and on and off throughout the day today. Already contacted support
