Solid purple light can't add camera

I get a solid purple light.  I disconnected it from electricity get a solid Amber light and then a solid purple light.  Please help

Hold in the reset button for about 10 secs till the led on front blinks orange... re-install as original.

 

BTW, usu the purple means it a range problem when connected
