So I recieved an email with my RMA information for a defective Arlo Q that has hissing/buzzing noise generated from the camera. The only way i'm able to get it replaced is if i pay for my own shipping? It'll cost $10-15 to ship it and not to metion a box to ship the camera in. Whats up with this crappy replacement policy! This is unheard off. I paid for a defective product, Netgear is willing to replace if i pay for my own shipping to your warehouse? Thats ridiculous. This alone makes me not want to invest on the Arlo system netgear has or recommend netgear product with this type of RMA policy. For anyone having issues with their cameras, if you're still in that window for returning it to the store, return it and avoid netgear's RMA.

It may not be the best policy,....but it's not an unheard of policy for companies.
In the end, it's $15 or the cost to replace by buying a new one. It may stink, but it's also an easy choice.
