Heyo!

We've been having issues setting up more than one Q Camera. The first camera connected and is working just fine, but none of the others are even reading the QR Code when we go to set it up. We hold the QR Code in front of the camera for several minutes and nothing happens, eventually the camera makes the failed connection sound and gives up.

We have already tried resetting the cameras to factory settings, different networks, disconnected the first camera and tried to start from scratch (still only one connected), and tried all the cameras. The only camera that would connect is the first one we tried.

We do not have a hub and have no subscription and are trying to set this up without one. It is our understanding that we don't need a hub or subscription to set up our five cameras, but we can't get past the QR Code screen for any of them except the first one we set up.

Thanks!

As you note, there's no need for a base. Have you tried different phones/tablets/computers to try to get the cameras connected? To be clear, you're using your own WiFi for your phones, not cell service, right? Have you moved the phone closer and further away to see if that helps?

You may have somehow hit multiple bad devices. Try swapping at least one at the store to see if that makes a difference.
