I want to add some security cameras to the side of my 25ft Class C RV. I was planning to caulk the mounts to the side of the RV and then mount the cameras to them. I've been looking at a wireless camera option like the Arlo Pro 5S and then I can hook up a mini solar panel I mount on the corner of my roof or something to keep it charged up all the time.

I daily drive my RV to and from work everyday so I'm curious if anyone has used these and knows if the cameras will hold in place under highway speeds?

Simply caulking the mount would definitely not work. Due to vibration and wind, the magnetic mounts would also be out. You can use threaded mounts  that use the standard 1/4"-20 thread and caulk the bezeesus out of the holes needed but vibration could still be an issue - you'd have to take the time to make sure everything is tight.

However, the Pro5 would need a constant WiFi connection which would seem to make the effort useless unless you're using a cell hotspot. Maybe the Go2 would be a better answer.
