I bought a new Arlo Q (I have others that have long been in use).  Have tried to connect via various suggested methods, including WPS.  Always ends up with "device not found", but my internet/wifi app shows that it has in fact connected.  Blue LED keeps blinking.

Yes, I've done factory reset multiple times.  Always the same end result.  The very strange thing to me is that my wifi manager app shows that it has connected, but the arlo app does not.

Try using a PC (my.arlo.com).  Disable any internet security and antivirus software on the PC during the install.  If you can connect the PC using ethernet, then I suggest doing that as well.

I did try via PC(Macbook) this morning and that didn't work, although I don't have ability to connect PC via ethernet.  I don't have antiviral software but I'm not sure about security settings(?).   I also saw someone suggest that bluetooth on phone may interfere, so I'll try turning that off.   And my wifi shows that it was connecting via 5ghz, and I assume that wouldn't make any difference vs 2.4?

Ideally the phone/PC and the doorbell are connected to the same wifi channel.  So check for that.

No doorbell involved.  And I assume they are connected to "same channel", but not sure how I would even check that.  This is really quite ridiculous in my opinion.  These devices should be much easier to connect.  It seems like I may have wasted money on the two cameras I bought.   I'm out of ideas and things to try.  I have now tried it at a different home and wifi and the result is the same.  I've tried resetting, limiting wifi to 2.4 ghz, and just about everything.  Still no success.  I wish there was a definitive way to fix it, but seems I may be just plain out of luck/screwed.  Extremely frustrating.   Arlo should be able to do better than this!
