Multiple Account Problems: Login Failures & SmartThings getting "Blocked country code used"

Hi,

 

I’ve been experiencing several issues with my Arlo account that seem to go beyond a single problem.

For several weeks, I was completely unable to log into my account — neither via the website, Android app, nor iOS. I kept getting “Time Out” messages or no error at all. I eventually reset my password (even though that wasn’t the issue), which caused my SmartThings integration to disconnect as well.

 

Only today was I finally able to log in via the web. I cleared my trusted devices and managed to sign in on Android. However, when I tried to relink Arlo to SmartThings, I got the following error: "Blocked country code used"

This makes me think there may be multiple issues affecting my account — login problems for weeks, and now this geo-blocking issue.

 

I saw a similar case reported by another user here:

As suggested by Arlo in a Play Store comment, I contacted askarlo@arlo.com, but haven’t received any reply yet. I followed up today, thinking the issue was resolved — but it’s clearly not.

Please help me understand what’s happening with my account and how I can restore full functionality, especially the SmartThings integration.
