Motion detention not working and no video recordings

My Arlo Q was working properly for almost 2 years but now stop recording.  Motion detection does not seem to work either.  I have reset the Arlo Q but still not workiing.  

 

Manual recording seems to work but motion detection seems useless now.  Is this because I am on the new no subscription plan which previously was the basic plan?

 

Then what is the use of the new no subscription plan if motion detection was taken away.  It is almost saying you need to pay now to get the camera working again.

Nothing has changed with the free plan other than the wording. It sounds like the camera itself has an issue if the reset (holding the reset button until the camera clicks and the LED flashes amber) didn't help.
