I am finding that the first second of motion on my Arlo Q camera can sometimes be pixelated, which then clears (1080p resolution).

 

 My upload bandwidth is a good 15Mbps and the camera is only a few feet from the router. Signal strength and bandwidth I believe therefore are good. I have tried different wifi channels but this makes no difference.

 

Any suggestions please?

Got nothing, your the first to report this with the Q cam

 

 

...other than maybe reset the Q cam ( hold reset till front led flashes , about 8-10 seconds ), then resync to your wifi.

 

If it continues after I'd put in a trouble ticket

There could be some minor interference that is causing the issue intermittently. In addition to TomMac's suggestions above, you could (temporarily) relocate the camera to see if the issue follows the camera to the new location.
