I would like to know if I can use the outlet in my house with the USB port instead of the power adapter that come with the camera?
I didn't buy one already as I need to know if it's possible. The adaptor take too much place.
Also what is the length of the USB cable?
Did you try with a 10feet Cable?

Any USB charger that can supply ~2 amps should work fine. For cables, especially longer ones, use one that's specifically for fast charging, which use a larger gauge wire to prevent voltage drop due to wiring resistance.
