ArloQ bought from a friend cannot connect..

Hi,

 

I recently purchased an Arloq, easy to use and install. I then bought a second camera from a friend (another arloq) but I cannot get it to connect, everytime I get through the Qr code part it just won't connect 😞 Need help 😄

Hi,

 

I sure have along with changing my wifi username and password to not contain any special characters as I heard that can cause issues.

Did your purchasee reove the camera from his setup?  Maybe that's keeping you from registering it in your setup.

When factory resetting, be sure you are holding the reset button in until you hear a "click". The camera will then reboot indicating that the reset is finished.

 

When adding the Arlo Q to your account be sure you are entering the SSID and password exactly how it appears (Case sensitive).

 

Be sure the device you are using to add the Arlo Q is on the same network.
