Q cameras do run warm - it's normal.
What do you mean about the On/Off not doing anything - off still records videos?

PS... The Q also have a temp sensor... other users in the past have noted the camera turns itself off with a messg ( like; your cam is to warm ).
It restarted after a cool down...
IIRR, the Q was on a heater too which may have caused the problem...

I now see that when the Q is toggled off, the device will neither do a "live" view, nor will it allow a change in mode. However, the camera's light status can still be controlled by its own on/off toggle switch.
