The camera does not record at night. All I get is it's reflection from the window....same with the Arlo wire free. Does this not have this capability. Will I have to put the Arlo Wireless outside?

Are you saying you have both a wireless and a Q camera? The wireless simply won't work shooting through glass due to the IR motion detection scheme. The Q will since it uses a pixel-based scheme. In either case, night vision has to be disabled so the IR illuminators don't reflect off the glass, blinding the system.
