Arlo Q will not sync

I purchased the 3 wire free cameras with a Arlo Q.The 3 wire free cameras linked up but the Arlo Q doesnt.I have it plugged into a electrical outlet follow instructions with pushing syn button until blue light flashes then I hold up to scan code on computer screen.I hear a chime then a note comes up states took to long to find wifi and orange light starts flashing again.To start sync Arlo Q ask for wifi name and password.I have used the username and password to set up an acct and I have used my wifi password.What am I doing wrong?Thank You Jeff

Usu a reset of the Q will solve a syncing issue...hold the reset for 10 sec till the led flashes and then attempt to sync again
