I am just trying to understand why my FPS seems to be lowered on my camera. I have 3 Arlo Pro's at my house. It seems like after they have been runing for some time they drop their FPS down to 7.5. Isn't this camera suppose to support 30fps @ 1080p. I have 500mbps internet so i doubt that is the problem and I have good wifi in the house with a mesh network with a wired backbone. Does anyone have an idea what the deal is.

If i restart the camera it does seem to work fine for a while. My Arlo Pro 2 cameras don't seem to suffer this same problem. They seem to always record at 24fps.

The Q (and baby) drop their frame rate if there is low light. If you make the room really bright and give it a few minutes to adjust, is it still recording at that low frame rate?

That would kind of make sense. So how much light does it need to turn the FPS backup. Allot of times during the day the lights in the house are turned off and we are good with just what comes through the blinds and such.

I'm not sure of the lux at which it drops, sorry
