Arlo Q motion destruction recording for 4+ hours?

In the library for my arlo q every few days it will store motion detection recording in library that have time stamps of over 4 hours of recording. When it should record for no longer than 2 mins. In these recording videos it is stuck on a single image. It is not a true recording. It is messing with my CVR service as well. Any ideas? This arlo q has been a real pain.

Do a reset of the Q cam.  ( hold in reset for ten sec till the led flashes )

Before trying a factory reset (as described above), I would recommend rebooting the camera through Settings > My devices > Arlo Q > Restart or unplug the power. Allow the camera to come back online and test to see if you have the same behavior.
