I have gone through the setup steps, double checked network and passwords were completely correct.  It still gives me the raspberry sound and will not complete setup!  I have it literally right next to my router and made sure my phone and/or laptop were connected to the same network....  Please help!

Two possibilities:

1) Old firmware on the camera prevents the use of special characters (non alphanumeric) in either the SSID or passphrase. If the router has a guest WiFi capability, enable that using bland SSID and passphrase. Let the camera get the firmware update, and change the WiFi the camera connects to.

2) The camera needs to be reset. Use the reset button until the camera clicks and the LED flashes amber. Try syncing again.

A final thought - it won't work on WEP so make sure you're using WPA2.

After the mandatory Firmware upgrade the camera can / will not connect to the WIFI ??

Has been working for a long time without problems ?

PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP.

Working fine here so it's possibly a local issue. Have you tried power cycling and/or resetting the camera?

FIXED..

Apparently you have to Factory default the Arlo Q after the firmware upgrade ??

NOT very user friendly !

I have 2 Arlo Q and they both had the same problem :(.

After Factory defaulting they both work again.
