Arlo Q Wired CVR does not work

I subscribed to Arlo CVR and whle the cameras are marked as having CVR, they are still recording based on motion. I called tech support a week ago and the support tech said, "we are working on this" check back in a few days. There doesn't seem to be an obvious way to get this working correctly. The only recently resolved similar question was to unsubscribe and subscribe again but that appears to involve being charged more for CVR. I have 5 cameras that are suppposed to be on CVR.

Cameras on CVR still record on motion. They also stream all the time for CVR. Is that what you're describing or is it that CVR simply isn't working?
If you unsubscribe, you get a pro-rated refund. Re-subscribing doesn't double charge.

The cameras are recording on motion only and no options are presented to change that setting to CVR despite the subscription to CVR.
Do you suggest unsubscribing and then ressubscribing? Seems like a workaround but... if it works.
