Arlo Q, Experiencing a hissing/buzzing sound

Hi,  I just installed my 2 Arlo Q cameras.  When in talk/listen in live mode, I am experiencing loud background noise, almost a hissing sound.  I am connected to WiFi, blue light is on.  Any suggestions?  

 

Also, is a 5-10 second delay normal in voice and video?  My WiFi shows a strong signal.

I would try and do a RESET on the Q camera... ( hold in the reset for about ten seconds till the front led flashes amber ) and resync as if new.

 

No, a hissing sound isn't normal... I hear voices clear as could be from a small mic ( sort of like cell phone quality ).

Also, there can be a delay but 10 secs seems excessive, re-check after the reset.

 

As a PS... try another browser like Fire Fox if not using.

 

If all continues then I'd contact Netgear for a trouble ticket.
