Periodic Disconnect

initial setup was wifi, reset camera with reset button, have wired connection now with ethernet and power adapter, all works great.  Occationally, camera will disconnect, solid purple led comes on for about 1 minute, and then camera reconnects by itself, does that mean it is trying to connect via wifi?  I wonder if I should do a more thorough reset.  Thanks, Ed

Using the reset button is the only reset you'll get.  You can try again.  Are you sure you're connected via Ethernet and not WiFi?  Maybe there's an issue with the cable, PoE adapter, switch/router, etc.
